Oktober, führte das Symphonische Blasorchester Sulzbach einen intensiven Probetag im Bürgersaal der Braunwarthsmühle durch. Die Probe diente der finalen Vorbereitung für das Konzert „Symphonie in Blech“, ein Benefizkonzert des Rotary Clubs Obernburg, das am 9. November in der Frankenhalle in Erlenbach stattfinden wird. Der Erlös des Abends wird zu 100 % sozialen Projekten des Rotary Clubs zugutekommen.
Im Fokus des Probentages standen die abwechslungsreichen Arrangements, die beim Konzert zu hören sein werden. Das Programm reicht von Mathias Wehrs „Throne of the North“ und Adam Gorbs „Eine kleine Yiddishe Ragmusik“ über Rolf Rudins „Ferne Weite“ bis hin zur klassischen „Second Suite in F“ von Gustav Holst. Ein besonderes Highlight des Programms ist die Premiere von „Auf den Spuren von Emmanuel Herigoyen“, einer Neukomposition von Guillermo Ruiz. Emmanuel Herigoyen, der Architekt der alten Kirche „St. Anna“ in Sulzbach, wurde in Portugal geboren, doch seine Wurzeln reichen bis in die Nähe von Sulzbachs Partnergemeinde Urrugne im französischen Baskenland. Ruiz, ein langjähriger Freund des Sulzbacher Musikvereins, lässt Herigoyen musikalisch durch Sulzbach streifen und verbindet in seiner Komposition fränkische und baskische Klänge – ein Zusammenspiel, das für ein einzigartiges Musikerlebnis sorgen wird.
Das Konzert „Symphonie in Blech“ beginnt am 9. November 2024 um 19:30 Uhr in der Frankenhalle Erlenbach. Barbara Karl aus Glattbach wird den Abend gewohnt charmant moderieren und die Gäste durch das Programm führen. Der Eintritt kostet 12 Euro, ermäßigt 10 Euro.
Kartenvorverkauf und weitere Informationen: Karten sind im Bürgerbüro Erlenbach, bei der Gärtnerei Löwer in Mömlingen, in der Alten Stadtapotheke in Obernburg, sowie bei unseren lokalen Verkaufsstellen in der Schreibwaren und Buchhandlung Amrhein und im Fachgeschäft Eisenträger erhältlich.
