„Edelweiß“ spielt in Frankreich auf – Musikverein Edelweiß
Sulzbach/Hendaye Bereits seit 1977 besteht zwischen dem Musikverein (MV) „Edelweiß“ Sulzbach und der Musikgruppe „Zarpai Banda“ aus dem Städtchen Hendaye im französischen Baskenland eine enge Freundschaft. Dies war für die Sulzbacher Musiker Anlass zu einem Besuch des Jugendblasorchesters beim Partnerverein an der 1400 Kilometer entfernten Atlantikküste. Neben einem abwechslungsreichen Besichtigungs- und Erlebnisprogramm war auch deutsch-französisches Musizieren mit der Musikkapelle „Urrunarak“ aus Urrugne angesagt: Die Gestaltung des Sonntagsgottesdienstes, der Empfang im Rathaus oder lockere Musik bei Tanz und Wein machten die Tage in Frankreich zum Erlebnis. Als Höhepunkt fanden sich die Edelweiß-Musiker im Zentrum von Hendaye zum gemeinsamen Konzert (Foto) mit den Gastegebern zusammen.
