Ein ganz normaler Freitag für Martin Matyssek – Musikverein Edelweiß
Anm. des Webmasters: Da hat sich doch 7plus, die Wochenendbeilage der Zeitschrift Main-Echo, wirklich dafür interessiert, was unser Schlagzeuger Martin denn so am Freitag Abend macht. Wir wussten bisher auch nicht, wohin er nach der Probe verschwindet, jetzt ist es raus…
Mein Freitagabend beginnt, seitdem ich 13 bin, mit einer Probe im Musikverein Edelweiß in Sulzbach. Ich sitze dort am Schlagzeug, und schlage zwei Stunden lang Trommeln, Pauken und alles, was zur richtig guten konzertanten Blasmusik dazugehört. Manchmal fahre ich dann direkt weiter zur Probe von :dumb: nach Großostheim. Da spielen wir melancholischen Alternativrock à la »Smashing Pumpkins«. Und wenn mir das noch nicht genug Alternativprogramm zur Blasmusik war, fahre ich nach Darmstadt in die Disco »Steinbruch«. Da wird vor allem Heavy Metal und Cross-Over gespielt – nicht ganz böse, aber auch kein Pop!
