Auch nach einem grandiosen Jubiläumsjahr 2023 mit vielerlei musikalischen Höhepunkten sind wir darauf bedacht unserem Publikum und natürlich auch uns Musikern etwas Besonderes zu bieten.
Auf Vorschlag unseres Dirigenten Winfried Rehse wurde Valerie Teresa Walter, Soloflötistin des Musikkorps Veitshöchheim als Gastsolistin gewonnen.
Valerie Teresa Walter, gebürtig aus der Nähe von Stuttgart begann mit 9 mit dem Flötenspiel und wirkte schon früh in den verschiedensten Orchestern und Ensembles mit.

Nach dem Studium an der Robert-Schuhmann-Hochschule in Düsseldorf trat sie die Stelle als Soloflötistin beim Musikkorps in Veitshöchheim an und wurde mit zahlreichen Preisen ausgezeichnet, unter anderem mit dem renommierten „Sir James Galway Rising Star Award 2020”.
Valerie Teresa Walter wird mit dem Symphonischen Blasorchester Sulzbach die „Fantasie über Bizets Carmen“ von François Borne sowie den weltbekannten „Czárdás“ von Vittorio Monti spielen.
Neben den Solowerken wird eine Auswahl zeitgenössischer Kompositionen zu hören sein. So etwa „Throne of the North“ von Mathias Wehr, „Ferne Weite“ von Rolf Rudin und „Eine kleine Yiddishe Ragmusik“ des Engländers Adam Gorb.
Aber auch ein Klassiker der Blasorchesterliteratur wie die „Second Suite in F“ von Gustav Holst darf ebensowenig fehlen wie eine musikalische Reminiszenz an den St. Patricks Day am Tag des Konzertes.
