Sulzbach Mit ihrem traditionellen Faschingszug läuteten die Sulzbacher Narren den Endspurt der fünften Jahreszeit ein. Natürlich durften hier die wichtigsten Ereignisse des Jahres nicht fehlen. Die beste Lösung, um die neue Tempo-30-Zone im Ortskern zu umgehen, kam etwa von den »Überfliegern« der Gruppe Main-Kult: Wer kurzerhand aufs Flugzeug umsteigt, hat keine Probleme mehr mit den irdischen Staus und Tempolimits.
Einmalige Ruinen-Kulisse
Für den globalen Ausblick sorgte hingegen der Carnevalclub Soden mit dem Motto »Fußballweltmeisterschaft 2010 – Soden unterstützt Südafrika«. Wie diese Hilfe aussehen soll? Für die Jecken ganz klar: Der CCS wird einfach umbenannt in den Carnevalclub Südafrika. Tatkräftige Unterstützung gab es wie in jedem Jahr vom Musikverein Edelweiß und den Sodenthaler Musikanten. Trotz der starken Konkurrenz durch den Kreisfaschingszug in Kleinwallstadt ließen es sich die Sulzbacher auch 2010 nicht nehmen, ihren eigenen Zug auf die Beine zu stellen und ausgiebig zu feiern. Die halb abgerissene Ruine der Ibelo sorgte in diesem Jahr für eine wahrlich einmalige Kulisse.
Kindergartenkinder ganz groß
Das Interesse der Sulzbacher Narren am eigenen Zug scheint nach wie vor ungebrochen: Insgesamt 19 Zugnummern und über 400 aktive Teilnehmer hatte man zusammenbekommen, um die fünfte Jahreszeit ausgelassen zu feiern. Die zahlreichen Jecken am Straßenrand sorgten für die richtige Stimmung. Sogar die Kleinsten waren wieder ganz groß dabei, wie etwa die Kinder aus den Kindergärten und den verschiedenen Jugendgruppen der Vereine. Vom König der Löwen bis zu den sieben Zwergen war alles vertreten, was Kinderherzen höher schlagen lässt. So ist zu hoffen, dass die Tradition des Sulzbacher Faschingszuges auch für die nächsten Generationen gesichert ist.
