Konzert mit Gänsehaut-Garantie – Musikverein Edelweiß

SULZBACH. Mit »das Konzert« hatten die Verantwortlichen des Musikvereins Sulzbach dem musikalischen Ereignis einen recht schlichten Titel gegeben. Dieses war allerdings alles andere als schlicht. Was vor allem das »erwachsene Orchester« bietet, ist Blasmusik auf höchstem Niveau. Weder Tempi noch Rhythmus oder Stimmungswechsel innerhalb eines Stücks schienen den Musikern unter Leitung von Winfried Rehse Probleme zu bereiten.
Dementsprechend abwechslungsreich war auch das Programm: Musik aus Filmen wie »Fluch der Karibik«, mit der das Jugendblasorchester eindrucksvoll sein Können bewies, Klassik, wie die »Hymne und der Triumphmarsch« aus Verdis Aida, Musical-Melodien wie das Medley aus »Starlight-Express«, das mit Gänsehaut-Garantie gespielt wurde. Das Blasorchester zeigte keinerlei Berührungsängste und schreckte auch nicht vor allseits bekannten Stücken wie Carl Orffs »Carmina Burana« oder Abbas »Dancing Queen« zurück, die schätzungsweise jeder Dritte zu Hause auf CD besitzt und ein dementsprechend perfektes Spiel mit eben solcher Interpretation gewohnt ist. Doch die Sulzbacher brauchten keinen Vergleich zu scheuen, wie der frenetische Beifall nach jedem Stück bewies.
Selbst Bürgermeister Hermann Spinnler war so begeistert, dass er nach der ersten Zugabe spontan das Mikrofon ergriff und Musikern und Publikum seine soeben getroffene »einsame Entscheidung« mitteilte: »Ich erlasse euch die Hallengebühr.« Zwei von beiden Orchestern gemeinsam gespielte Stücke beendeten einen wunderbaren Abend.
