Kreisversammlung mit Neuwahlen – Musikverein Edelweiß

Kreisverband Miltenberg. Ende November war der Musikverein Edelweiß Sulzbach Gastgeber für die Jahresversammlung des Kreisverbands. Vorsitzender Walter Zöller freute sich, hierzu 23 Personen begrüßen zu können. Im Rahmen der Grußworte lobte MdB Wolfgang Zöller die positive Arbeit des Verbands. MdL Dr. Hans Jürgen Fahn ist überzeugt, dass Blasmusik aus dem kulturellen Leben nicht mehr wegzudenken ist. MdL Berthold Rüth dankte für das Engagement sowohl der einzelnen Musikvereine als auch des Verbands, insbesondere um die Jugend als Klammer zur jungen Generation. Erfreut stellte Zöller fest, dass Sulzbach seinen hohen Anteil an Jugendlichen (127) halten und Trennfurt wiederum zulegen konnte. Durch kontinuierliche Arbeit konnten wieder D1- bis D3-Leistungserfolge verzeichnet werden. Die Erfolgsstory des Jugendblasorchesters „Churfranken“ sei zurückzuführen auf die organisatorische Aufbauarbeit von Siegfried Postel und die musikalische Arbeit von Wilco Grootenboer. Im Rahmen der Neuwahlen wurde der Vorstand einstimmig bestätigt. Vorsitzender Walter Zöller, Stellvertreter Siegfried Postel, Kreisdirigent Jürgen Spall. Ein neues Team des Jugendvorstands formierte sich in einer ebenfalls einstimmigen Wahl: Jugendvorsitzender Kai Steigerwald mit den Stellvertretern Markus Rehse, Michael Gahr und Heidi Czuday.
