Sulzbacher Heimatverein in den eigenen vier Wänden – Musikverein Edelweiß

Sulzbach. Der Heimat- und Geschichtsverein Sulzbach-Soden-Dornau (HGV) hat seit Sonntag offiziell Ausstellungsräume. Bürgermeister Hermann Spinnler übergab die beiden Zimmer an den Vorsitzenden Peter Wohlschlögel.
Die zwei Hallen-Räume haben etwa 180 Quadratmeter. Vor dem Umzug der Wehr waren darin Fahrzeuge untergebracht. HGV-Mitglieder haben die Zimmer hergerichtet, der Verein kann darin nun Ausstellungen veranstalten.
Unmittelbar nach Übergabe der Räume am Sonntag machten zahlreiche Besucher einen »Spaziergang durch die Jahrzehnte«: Eine stattliche Anzahl von Exponaten aus den drei Ortsteilen wurde präsentiert – Mode aus vergangener Zeit, Haushalts- und Gebrauchsgegenstände, landwirtschaftliches Gerät und Werkzeug. Auch eine Schusterwerkstatt kann begutachtet werden. Zudem gibt es Stellwände mit alten Fotos und Darstellungen aus den drei Ortsteilen. Mit diesen Ausstellungsräumen wurde dem HGV von der Gemeinde auch ein Büro- und Besprechungsraum im Bürgerhaus Dornau auf Mietbasis überlassen.
Bürgermeister Spinnler stellte die Leistung des jungen Vereins heraus ( im April 2001 gegründet). Die knapp 100Mitglieder seien bestrebt, Dinge für die Nachwelt zu erhalten. Er verwies auf die Kooperation von Gemeinde und HGV zur Restaurierung des Körbelsteins am Eingang der Friedhofskapelle.
Als Aufgabe nannte Spinnler die Erforschung von Flurnamen und Mundart. Als Fernziel bezeichnete er die Gründung eines Heimatmuseums im Sulzbacher Ortskern.
Der Musikverein »Edelweiß« umrahmte die Feierstunde auf dem Hof des Rathauses. Hermann Seitz, Vorsitzender des Musikvereins, übergab eine Jahrzehnte alte Vereinstrommel als Dauerleihgabe sowie alte Vereinsprotokolle.
