Die Moderation lag in den Händen von Vera Kloss, Mitglied des Jugendblasorchesters. Der Tradition folgend, verwöhnten die Aktiven des großen Blasorchesters unter Leitung von Winfried Rehse ihr Publikum mit Darbietungen, die zuvor aus einem Wunschkatalog hatten ausgewählt werden können. Das Spektrum reichte von volkstümlich bis modern. Die Wunschliste wurde angeführt von »Jesus Christ Superstar« (Andrew Lloyd Webber), gefolgt von »Erinnerungen an Zirkus Renz« (Gustav Peter) und »Abba Cadabra« (Johan de Meij).
