Sulzbach: Am Sonntag fand in der Herigoyen Volksschule »das Jugend-Konzert « 2012 des Musikvereins Edelweiß statt. Die Zuhörer ließen sich von dem packenden Konzert mitreißen.
Schon am Nachmittag überzeugten der »Musikgarten für Babys « unter musikalischer Leitung von Yvonne Reis und die musikalische Frühförderung, in der schon Kinder ab vier Jahren ihr Bestes geben. Außerdem war das Schlagzeugensemble von Andreas Voigt aufgetreten. Abgerundet wurde der Nachmittag von der Bläserklasse 2011, die eines ihrer ersten Konzerte gab.
Hervorragende Leistung
Das Jugendorchester unter Leitung von Winfried Rehse eröffnete mit »Intrade « von Hans Leo Hassler den Abend. Das Schülerorchester zeigte eine hervorragende Leistung. Schon das erste Stück »Celtic Air and Dance No. 2 « lud zum Träumen ein und wurde mit den Worten eröffnet: »Ob Sie es wollen oder nicht, Sie werden von der Melodie mitgerissen. « Weiter ging es mit »Rock my Soul « von Dick Ravenal, einem der bekanntesten Gospelsongs. Die Schülergruppe verabschiedete sich mit dem berühmten »I ’m a believer « von Johnny Vinson aus dem Trickfilm »Shrek «. Nach einer Zugabe machte das Schülerorchester Platz für das Jugendorchester.
Anspruchsvolle Kompositionen
Schon mit dem ersten Stück nahm es die Herausforderung an, das anspruchsvolle »Chantueri « von Lorenzo Pusceddu zu spielen, was ihm sehr gut gelang. Darauf folgte »Cityscapes «, dessen zwei Sätze New York musikalisch beschreiben. Der erste beschäftigt sich mit der Skyline und dem geschäftige Treiben der Stadt, im Schlusssatz mit dem glitzernden Manhattan. Mit »Tijuana Trumpets « überzeugten die Solisten Leon Dölger und Markus Kuhn. Spätestens jetzt konnte keiner der Anwesenden im Raum mehr die Füße still halten. Als Nächstes spielte die Gruppe »The Battle of Varlar «, das die Schlacht von Varlar und die Soldaten, die in diese Schlacht ziehen, beschreibt. Mit »Augusta « wurde der gelungene Abend abgerundet.
In der Veranstaltung wurde der Hausmeister der Herigoyen Volksschule, Harald Poch, verabschiedet. Mit dem Abschied verbunden wurde er zu allen weiteren Konzert mit den Worten eingeladen: »Dieses Mal ohne herausgeflogene Sicherungen, die du reparieren musst «
