Erfolge für Sulzbacher Orchester – Musikverein Edelweiß
Sulzbach: Das Symphonische Blasorchester sowie das Jugendblasorchester des Musikvereins Edelweiß Sulzbach haben bei Wertungsspielen mit sehr gutem Erfolg teilgenommen. Das Jugendblasorchester trat unter der Leitung von Winfried Rehse am 12. Mai beim Wertungsspiel des Nordbayerischen Musikbundes in Unterpleichfeld an (Foto). In der Mittelstufe erspielten sich die rund 30 jungen Musiker mit »Chantueri « und »The Battle of Varlar « 88 von 100 Punkten.Das Symphonische Blasorchester vertrat den Kreis Miltenberg beim Landesmusikfest in Weilheim (Oberbayern). Bei diesem Treffen von über 6000 Musikern aus Bayern, Baden-Württemberg, Hessen, der Schweiz und Österreich stellten sich die 45 Musiker, ebenfalls unter der Leitung von Winfried Rehse, dem Urteil der Jury. Mit »Friends of Freedom « und »Raise of the Sun « erreichten sie 85 Punkte.
