Sulzbach. Beschaulich begann am Samstag das Adventskonzert der Sulzbacher Bläserjugend. Mit »Freude schöner Götterfunken« begrüßte das Mikro-Orchester des Musikvereins unter Leitung von Winfried Rehse die Zuhörer in der St.-Anna-Kirche. Mit 17 Kindern und Jugendlichen gab die neue Bläserklasse unter Leitung von Andreas Fath ihr Debüt. Erst seit September spielen die jungen Talente zusammen. Umso beeindruckender, was sie zu Gehör brachten: Mit »Der erste Flug«, »Morgen kommt der Weihnachtsmann« und »Jingle Bells« begeisterten sie die Zuhörer. Das 31-köpfige Schülerorchester startete seine Darbietungen mit dem »Coconut Song«. Was ein Kokosnuss-Lied mit Weihnachten zu tun hat? Der (gewollt) krumme Ton am Ende des Stückes erinnere ihn an den Aua-Schrei eines Nussknackers, der sich an Heiligabend die Zähne an einer Kokosnuss ausbeißt, erklärte der Dirigent. Das Schülerorchester vermied mit fetzigen Stücken wie »Do wah diddy diddy« oder »Rock my Soul«, dass auch nur ein Hauch von Langeweile aufkam. Zum Schluss des einstündigen Konzerts spielten Schülerorchester und Bläserklassen gemeinsam »Macht hoch die Tür«.
