Ein außerordentlich hohes Niveau bescheinigen Experten den Vereinen – zumindest jenem kleinen Kreis, der sich in Großwelzheim den Wertungsrichtern stellte. Für die teilnehmenden Orchester gab es durchweg gute Noten. Über die Tageshöchstwertung durften sich die Musikverein Großwelzheim freuen.
Gerade einmal acht Vereine, darunter noch einer aus dem Nachbarverband Nordbayern (nämlich wir aus Sulzbach, Anm. des Webmasters), hatten sich zum Wertungsspiel gemeldet – ein Umstand, der sowohl den Sprecher der Juroren, Bernd Becker, als auch den Vizepräsidenten des BVV, Frank Geibig, nachdenklich stimmte. Umso positiver viel das Urteil Beckers zur vielseitigen Instrumentierung und dem hohen Anteil junger Musiker aus, denen durchweg eine „beachtliche tonliche und technische Reife“ zu bescheinigen sei. Neben Becker bildeten Helmut Blaudszum und Jürgen Luft das Bewerter-Trio, das sich besonders über den Auftritt der Bläserklasse Sulzbach freute.
Bleibt den Verantwortlichen die Hoffnung, dass ein größerer Teil der Mitgliedsvereine zum nächsten Wertungsspielen ihren Leistungsstand unter Beweis stellen wollen.
